I think I may be one of the persons who admires the feline species actually. May it be roaming around the street or just a plain house cat. I love them all!
Last June, when the school year was just dawning. I heard a noise. And that noise, well you have guessed it. It was a kitten. Yes, a small black and white with a small tint of brown colored kitten. As a response, I quickly grabbed the kitten from the small canal along our hallways and I gently put it in a small cardboard box.
It was a pitiful sight. I just cannot stand upon looking upon those cute, little, fury creatures wet and abandoned by their mother. I just really can't. When I hear them crying upon the hallways, it feels that my heart has just been shattered.
Luckily, due to the affirmation of my mother to bring the poor little kitten home, I brought it. We traveled through the highways of Iloilo City going to our home town in Barotac Nuevo. The passengers of the jeepney would oftentimes stare at me because of the noise that the kitten made in the box. It was sort of embarrassing but due to the love that I have to that kitten, I just ignored them.
Finally, I arrived at home. I immediately prepared food for the kitten and that was the beginning of our journey together in the house.
Today, my kitten is now a full grown cat. Actually, this month she is already pregnant. I hope that she will have babies by summer. How I love it!
Oh, I love those furry creatures, too but I thought you have asthma? I hope you can post pics of her kittens.
